The satin insert at the front of the fitted velvet bodice is covered with French lace and decorated at the center front with a criss-cross application of black velvet ribbon and Venetian lace trim on the sides of the insert. The sleeves are made of velvet to just below the elbow and the lower part of the dramatic, pointed pixie sleeves is made of satin with a French lace overlay decorated with Venetian lace trim. A wide, pleated, flowing skirt is made of French lace and is fully lined with silky soft satin. Concealed zipper at the back.
